The Educational Opportunities Act allows a Iowa income tax payers to contribute to School Tuition Organizations in exchange for state tax credits.

OUR SCHOOLS

In Scott County, the MVSTO benefits students at five K-12 Catholic schools, as well as Rivermont Collegiate. During the current school year, families of 652 students are being helped by the MVSTO.

 

MAKING A GIFT

For the 2018 tax year, the MVSTO can issue tax credits on donations totalling $1,070,812. The MVSTO welcomes gifts in the form of cash or marketable securities from private donors as well as LLCs, Subchapter S Corps, and C Corps.
